My earliest political leanings were toward the Democrat Party and even as late as the early 1970 I was a campaign worker and convention delegate for the Democrats.

The party I trusted back then is no more. It is no longer a party of the common man... of the working man... of the poor... of the minorities... of the oppressed.
It has become a home of those who have no honor... no ethics... no values... a party where saying or doing anything, regardless of its truthfullness or lawfullness, is acceptable if it serves the political fortunes of the party.
How sad! How very, very sad!
It turns out I am not the only person who feels this way.
