The liberals are trying to make the case that there was no connection between Saddam Hussein and the attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Well, let's see now. We know there were terrorist training camps in Iraq before 9/11 but the liberals say that doesn't matter because they weren't related to Al Qaeda.
Oh really?
Let's think about that for a while. Do you think an action like that could have been carried out without training for it before hand? Of course not. It was much too well organized to not have been rehearsed over and over. Okay, if that is the case then where did the training take place? Ever hear of a place called Salman Pak (or Salman Park) in Iraq? It is about 30 miles southeast of Baghdad and it was one of those terrorist training camps that the liberals say had no connection to Al Qaeda. Well, it so happens there are satellite photos of Salman Pak taken before 9/11 and guess what. There is the fuselage of a jet liner there. Just happenstance? Not likely. There is some disagreement as to exactly what type of aircraft it was but it definately of the 727/737 style.
Have a look at these satellite photos:

While we're at it check out the following with regard to Salman Pak:

Note that there are no other airliners here. That means that this is not an airliner junkyard. There was some other purpose for the aircraft being there. Further, Iraqi defectors have stated the purpose of the airliner was to train terrorist hijackers, including Al Qaeda.
The next time you hear some liberal say there was no connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda tell him to do his homework. The proof is all over the place.
So the liberals are also trying to make points by saying that President Bush, immediately after the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, had no grounds for issuing instructions to find out about Iraq's involvement. Given that these photos were taken before 9/11 you can now judge for yourself whether or not that was a reasonable thing to do.
