Do you care whether America's children get a good solid education in the public schools? How about your own children, or your grandchildren?
Are America's public school really in as bad shape as some people say? Yes, and no. There are some good public schools out there but they are becoming fewer and fewer in number as the liberal education adgenda becomes more and more prevalent.
Is it really bad? Yes, in some places the only word to describe it is horrible. Sounds like scare tactics doesn't it. Let's see now. How to know for sure? The people who are on the front line of the education system should know. In other words the teachers should know. Well, it so happens that one heck of a lot of public school teachers, for whatever reason, refuse to send their own children to public schools...... they send them to private schools. In a few places over half the public school teachers send their own children to private schools. If that doesn't say it all, what does?
Whose fault is it? If you are a conservative it is yours!!!
If you are conservative and have not run for your local school board, or encouraged and supported other conservatives to do so, it is yours.
If you have not contacted your elected officials at all levels and urged them to appoint conservatives to appointed positions in the education system, it is yours.
If you are a conservative and you have not actively worked to get yourself or other conservatives into decision making positions in the education system you have abrogated the accompanying decision making authority to the liberals.
That is indeed what has been happening over the last few decades and we are now reaping the whirlwind of students who cannot do simple math; can't speak, read, or write in good english; and students who know so little of the history of the United States that they have no idea of what is required to keep a free nation free.
I am as serious as I can be about the major reason for the current state of sorry affairs being that conservatives have abrogated the responsibility for public education to the liberals.
In order to turn it around conservatives must again become involved in public education at all levels from local boards on up as high as possible. Conservative mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grannys, grandpas, and college students MUST run for local boards and make their viewpoints once again the norm.
HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF ALL
All (or nearly all) state education boards have a Textbook Advisory Committee. These committees make decisions on what textbooks will be used within their jurisdictions. In the larger states these committees (especially the more liberal ones) tell the textbook publishers what they want to have added or deleted from a textbook brfore they will recommend it to their state boards. Because the larger states purchase such large quantities of textbooks the publishers have no recourse but to comply if they wish to remain in business. That is how liberals have managed to get some of the most outrageous and deviant mantras into school curriculae. A side effect of this is that states with smaller populations often end up having to use textbooks which contain points of view with which they don't agree because the publishers won't alter the content to suit the desires of states who only place orders for a relatively small number of books. Thus does the liberal philosophy become infused into even the most remote areas of our country.
This is where we conservatives must begin. By whatever the means we must see that we become the majority in every state's Textbook Advisory Committee.... even 100% of the committee if possible.
It can be turned around, but to make it do so you must get involved.
Don't let the liberals continue to drive the USA into history's trash heap...
