Let me start by admitting that I believe that abortion is wrong, except when necessary to preserve the life of the mother.
Here is why I believe what I do.
From the moment of conception a human life is present. Note that I did not say "human being". If that statement were not true then there would not be an "abortion issue."
Abortion is the termination of a human life, regardles of the state of development of that life.
Abortion is the termination of a human life without due process. No court of law has to approve of an abortion if the mother is mentally competent.
The taking of a human life without due process is...... Well, we all know the answer, don't we.
No matter what arguments I have heard from the pro-abortion, or pro-choice, advocates I cannot escape the conclusion I come to as stated above.
If anyone visiting here thinks there is a fallacy in the derivation of my conclusions I'd sure like to hear why.
